Unity Farm Sanctuary

About This Sanctuary

Joy, hope, kindness and compassion are always at the forefront of our thinking at the Sanctuary. By working together with the community on topics such as compassionate farm animal care, sustainable organic farming practices, the power of kindness, and the value of volunteerism, we seek positive changes for animals and people alike.

Unity Farm Sanctuary formally began in December 2016. Residents here include alpaca, llamas, horses, ponies, miniature horses, sheep, cows, goats, pigs and a vast array of feathered friends. We cannot rescue every surrender request: so we network with the community and other vegan organizations to help as many farm animals as possible find loving, lifelong homes.

Working toward a positive future, we host Sanctuary Tours, humane educational workshops, wellness and creativity retreats, and are particularly proud of  volunteer opportunities for adults, and students as young as 10 accompanied by an adult. Please do not bring any food products derived from animals onto the Sanctuary grounds (ie. flesh/dairy).

The Sanctuary in bucolic wooded Sherborn MA is located minutes from Boston on the Mass Pike exit in Natick, yet is worlds away from urban life. Visitors are encouraged to walk our forest trails that connect with the Bay Circuit Trail, and are open dawn to dusk. (For the safety of both our animal residents and our visitors, we are a closed farm, so unscheduled drop-in walking through the animal care zone is not permitted for the safety of the animals and the visitors (become a volunteer or come on a guided tour!)
